Tetrascape

Flexibility, feasibility, and community engagement are the guiding principles for TETRASCAPE. This design provides pedestrians with sheltered seating while also serving as display pieces for public artwork. In collaboration with local artists, each structure is one-of-a-kind, collectively showcasing the diverse talent across Seattle. The modular pieces can be used individually or be grouped to create unique and larger shared spaces aimed at fostering community and togetherness.

The structure is composed of painted tube steel connected with fasteners. The frame is then clad with weather resistant plywood at the bottom creating a seat and at the top creating a shelter.
